The Gloomy Day

The gloomy day

The raining season is here

Dark clouds fill the sky

There’s no more sun

That could light up the sky

The weather’s cold

It makes me shiver

Day becomes night

Night becomes cold

I don’t want to move

An inch out of my bed

The gloomy day has made me realize

That I prefer sun over rain

As sun shines the world

While rain just gives you gloomy days.

I can see its thorny spikes

I can smell the pleasant yet satisfying smell

I can feel the rough surface

I can taste it sweetness down my throat

When I think of rambutan

I can see its reddish skin
